XPO Delivery Service that provides the delivery for Lowes is the most unprofessional delivery service we have ever dealt with. Shame on Lowes for continuing to use them.

We purchased a gas dryer from Lowes (and Lowes promises "Next Day Delivery" ) on Thursday. Friday the delivery guys show up 2 hours earlier than the delivery company told me they would. No one told us that the gas needed to be disconnected so I asked the delivery guys to wait 10 minutes while I have my son (who is a fireman and has worked in appliance repair) disconnect the gas. By the time we got to the door, the truck was gone.

We were then rescheduled for a Sunday delivery and waited all day. I finally called XPO and was told that they were at my house, could not get in and left. I told them that was impossible as we were waiting all day for the delivery truck and our gates were open for them. I then spoke to a manager that admitted that XPO never came to my house on Sunday (they are liars) and that I was never scheduled for a Sunday delivery.

The manager of XPO then scheduled me for an early Monday delivery. Monday came and went and no sign of the delivery truck, I them called the delivery manager at Lowes and he confirmed that we were never scheduled for a delivery on Monday. Hold on. It get's better.

He then schedules me for a Tuesday delivery and I receive a phone call and a text message form XPO confirming a 3pm to 5pm delivery for Tuesday. It is now Tuesday and I have now taken 3 days off from work. I run out for an errand in the am and receive a text message from XPO AT 11:15 am indicating that my delivery time is being changed to 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Note the times!

I then call the drivery service and they confirm that the truch was at my house at 10 am and no one was home. Come gain - what? XPO's explanation is that they informed me by text of the change of delivery time but they failed to admit that the text message was sent at 11:15 am and the delivery truck was at my house at 10 am. I am told that the delivery truck cannot return to my home for a Tuesday delivery.

I am now told that the best they can do is try to get me set up for a Wednesday delivery.

So at that point I am looking at 4 missed days from work due to XPO's negligent delivery practices. And the best is that we still do not have a gas dryer, We are taking our business elsewhere and I would recommend that until Lowes changes who they use for delivery services, not to use either XPO or Lowes if an item needs to be delivered!

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.
